Gypsy Rock band Flying Balkan Laika’s (a.k.a. Flying Balalaika Brothers) blends modern-day and traditional sounds to create a futuristic fusion of experimental world music. Armed with electric guitars, an accordion, a metal- influenced drummer, the Flying Balkan Laika’s performances center around the massive contrabass-balalaika. Band represent a near perfect example of cross - cultural communication and assimilation, thereby demonstrating unto the world the true potential and beauty of multi-cultural cooperation and harmony.
